Registration

The registration desk will be ready to welcome you at the main conference venue at 9.15 am on October 11 (Thursday) and it will be open throughout the day. On Friday and Saturday, the registration desk will be open at 08.30–09.00. Prior to this, you will be asked to fill in an online registration form closer to the conference date.

Please bear in mind that the conference fee is payable only by bank transfer to be completed by September 30.

Conference materials

If you would like us to provide a link to your handout, poster, and/or slides in the conference programme, please send the link to Marta Ruda.

Handouts

If you choose to use handouts for your presentation, please have about 50 copies for the single-session presentations and about 30 copies for the parallel sessions. The handouts can be printed in one of the numerous printing shops around the conference venue (depending on the place, you can expect to pay PLN 0.08 – PLN 0.20 per page (ca. EUR 0.018 – EUR 0.046); look for signs saying ‘Ksero’ or ‘Druk’; please bear in mind that printing shops tend to be rather busy this time of the year, so you may need to wait in a queue).

Posters

Please hand your poster in to one of the local organisers at the registration desk on the morning of the day of your poster session.

Some (though not all) printing shops close to the conference venue offer printing posters. If you would prefer to print your poster once in Kraków, please take into account that that the printing shops tend to be rather busy this time of the year.

Internet access

Eduroam is available in the Jagiellonian Library.

Food

Kraków's city centre offers a whole variety of restaurants. The Jagiellonian Library has a cafeteria serving lunch meals. Another place for lunch at an affordable price is the cafeteria in Auditorium Maximum (Krupnicza 33), with a selection of menus (including 1 vegetarian dish; meals include soup, main course, a cold drink). Other frequently recommended places close to the conference venue include those found in Krupnicza Street (starting from the closest):
  • Vega, Krupnicza 22 (vegetarian and vegan food at an affordable price)
  • Dynia Resto Bar, Krupnicza 20 (Mediterranean cuisine) 
  • Mięta Resto Bar, Krupnicza 19 (Mediterranean cuisine)

  • Sissi, Krupnicza 3 (organic food)
